Beaujolais Nouveau Day – Nov 18, 2021
Beaujolais Nouveau Day is marked in France on the third Thursday in November with fireworks, music and festivals. Under French law, the wine is released at 12:01 a.m., just weeks after the wine’s grapes have been harvested. Parties are held throughout the country and further afield to celebrate the first wine of the season.
Bottles of this cheeky little number will be rushed to The Olive Tree “post haste”. Exact timings are impossible to predict just yet, but should be arriving to a screeching halt in the car park late afternoon to early evening!
Updates will be posted here during the day, or just come on down when you are ready for an early aperitif, Calvados, Pastis & Dubonnet will be available, along with classic cocktails; Negroni, Aperol Spritz or a Bellini
A very French menu is also available, although we would appreciate you booking this in advance.
